Family Law Attorney Timothy O’Grady to the Rescue

Imagine being away from your children—unable to see them, provide for them, and share their joys and sorrows.

Imagine being away from your children—unable to see them, provide for them, and share their joys and sorrows. This was the life of one Chicago father facing a long-fought divorce with concerns of his wife taking both his 1 and 3-year-old sons to live with her boyfriend.

Once matrimonial attorney Timothy O’Grady (http://dadsrights.com) became involved with the case he uncovered and argued that the mother of the two young boys was a recovering drug user, who was often times found to be partying with the use of alcohol at all hours of the night.

After hearing the evidence, Cook County Judge Veronica Mathein was convinced that the mother was unfit to parent and awarded the father the right to have his children through a temporary possession order, on Tuesday, July 30, 2012. The children are now safe and out of harm’s way.

Attorney O’Grady is an experienced senior attorney at the Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving, Ltd., with a proven track record of passionately protecting the rights of fathers and their children. Focusing exclusively on marital and family law matters, he has earned a reputation for being fiercely assertive while representing clients in divorce proceedings involving complicated, contested paternity, child custody, support and visitation issues.

“I’m a firm believer in paternal involvement,” said Attorney O’Grady. “Children are often the victims when parents decide to split and in a culture of drug use. The health and wellbeing of children should be the parents’ top priority, and it was that of my client.”
