Duxler: Empowering Women to Take the Wheel for Mother's Day

Gone are the days when every gas station was full service, and where women could have their cars filled up with gas while having their oil, windshield fluid and tires checked and filled. In today's world of self-service everything, it's surprising that many women still are not in the know when it comes to car care. These routine procedures are not only for driver safety, but also to know what to do when in a jam!

Too often, women find themselves stuck on the side of the road calling someone to help change their tire, or heading to the dealership just to have their car fluids checked and filled. Knowing how to change a tire is something that could depend on life or death. Duxler is putting an end to this with their free Car Care Clinics that teach women (and new drivers) basic maintenance upkeep they can do on their own.

Duxler is proud to be an exhibitor at the Fifth Annual North Shore Women’s Conference, held on Friday, May 11th from 10am-3:30pm at the Lincolnshire Marriott. The event is hosted by 21 local Chambers of Commerce, and will hold breakout sessions, workshops, and inspiring speakers all for women empowerment. Duxler's own Julie Yusim is ecstatic to be apart of the event, and knows that she is just one step closer in her goal to educating women on car care.
