Turning a Blind Eye.

As an elected official you are elected by the people for the people, you can not pick and choose who want to represent. Being a photo-op alderman may look good in print but lacks substance for the constituents you are chosen to  represent. The 5th ward seems to lack that effective leadership,with a constellate of vacant properties,trash strewn alleys and an ever increasing crime problem. It seems that leadership or any facsimile there of is non-existent . The constant presence of Local law enforcement's surviellance vehicle makes the community look as though it's under martial law. These occurrences  aren't observed in 6th 7th or 1st wards, does crime not exist in these wards ? or do the alderman or alderwoman represent their constituents.This should be a calling for a Time of Change ,to Restore the 5th ward to the pride it once was of the North shore yes the demographics for the area have changed but the politics have not. Do we continue to turn a blind eye or Voice our Opinion for CHANGE!!!!!!
