Apollo & Zeus Await You At C.A.R.E.

Each week, we feature pets available for adoption from C.A.R.E. at Evanston's Animal Shelter.

Non-stop kisses: that's what you'll get with the dynamic duo of Apollo and Zeus, both of Italian Greyhound heritage. These boys can be very demanding, with a high need for your attention and quality lap time.

That said, they’re a gentle pair, able to move about quietly with slender, racy builds. Need watch dogs? Apollo and Zeus, at your service. They're always ready to bark an alarm if they spot strangers or hear odd noises.

Their ability to climb and jump can possibly get them into trouble due to their delicate legs. Apollo and Zeus don't let anything stop them. They're always ready for gentle games of fetch. Since they're sight hounds, they’re able to run like the wind—that means they’ll need secure fencing and proper leashes to keep them safe and out of traffic.
