Evanston Art Center Hosts Winter Arts and Craft Expo

See Home Alone For Free on the Big Screen
5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at The Wilmette Theatre, 1122 Central Ave.
The Wilmette Theatre screens this holiday classic as part of a free family film festival. Pick up free passes during business hours at the theatre, since seating is limited. The theatre will also screen It's a Wonderful Life at 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22, and A Christmas Story at 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23.

Check Out The Rocky Horror Picture Show With a Live Cast
9:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at 27 Live, 1012 Church St., Evanston
Prop kits are for sale at the door and audience participation is highly encouraged at this event, which features a live cast performing (and parodying) the Rocky Horror Picture Show. 

Pick Up Last-Minute Gifts at the Winter Arts and Crafts Expo
Through Sunday, Dec. 22, at the Evanston Art Center, 2603 Sheridan Rd., EvanstonMore than 110 artisans display handmade works of jewelry, ceramics, fiber, metal, glass painting, photography and more at the Evanston Art Center's annual Winter Expo. All proceeds benefit the Art Center. Saturday is "men's shopping day," featuring free gift wrapping and helpers who can assist in finding the right gift.

The Light Opera Works performs the musical about Annie Oakley and Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show, including songs like "There's No Business Like Show Business" and "Anything You Can Do." Tickets start at $32 and are available online

Hear the All-Village Singers Perform Holiday Tunes
3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22, at the Evanston Public Library, 1703 Orrington Ave., Evanston
The All-Village singers perform a selection of secular and traditional holiday songs in four-part harmony. Free.
