Located conveniently on Benson Avenue in downtown Evanston, Second Baptist today has Sunday services, weekly Bible study, Vacation Bible School and many service-oriented activities aimed at improving the community. There are also men's and women's groups that meet regularly, as well as those for young adults, seniors and couples. The Reverend Mark A. Dennis, Jr. is the current Senior Pastor, the eleventh in the church's history.
