Located within the sprawling campus of the prominent First Presbyterian Church of Evanston but an independent organization from the church, SLC prides itself in welcoming all families with an emphasis on disability inclusion (SLC will provide aides and professional support as needed). Classes for ages 2-5 are grouped by age in the mornings (which is the most difficult to secure enrollment, so be patient) and in mixed-age groups in the afternoon. The School runs a very popular beach camp in the summer and also offers parent-tot and music classes.
