C.A.R.E. promotes humane treatment through public education and active involvement with unwanted and abandoned animals brought to the Evanston Animal Shelter. The organization has been serving the Evanston community since 1987 and is always looking for additional volunteers to help maintain the animals or give them temporary homes.
