The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department: Arrests: Criminal Damage, Theft of Service Trevor S. Ells, 20, of the 2300 block of Sheridan Road in Evanston, was arrested and charged with criminal damage to property at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, in the 700 block of Emerson Street, according to police. Layton J. Jones, of the 2400 block of Church Street in Evanston, was arrested and charged with theft of service or labor at 12 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, at the police station, police reported. Gunfire Reported at Wesley and Dempster Police investigated a report that someone had fired a gun at Wesley Avenue and Dempster Street between 9:45 and 10 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3.
