Thief Steals Cello in Car Burglary

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department:  Shots Fired at Lyons and Dodge Police investigated a report that someone had fired a gun at Lyons Street and Dodge Avenue around 12:23 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8. Nothing was found in the area. Man Charged With False Impersonation Robert Drymalski, 44, of the 2600 block of Central Street in Evanston, was arrested and charged with false impersonation at 4:05 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, in the 1400 block of Elmwood Avenue, according to police.  Saw Stolen in Burglary on Noyes Someone stole a Dewalt grinder saw from a locked room in a public building in the 900 block of Noyes Street between Aug. 2 and 14, according to police.  Attempted Burglary on Brummel Pry marks…

Blotter: Car Hijacking, Criminal Sexual Abuse, Delivery of Cannabis

Car Hijacking Reported at Church Street and Dodge Two people ordered their victim to exit a vehicle, then took off with it at 9:37 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, at the intersection of Church Street and Dodge Avenue, police reported.  Man Charged With Criminal Sexual Abuse Rubin A. Saldana Jr., 36, of the 4900 block of Oakton Street in Evanston, was arrested and charged with criminal sexual abuse in the 1400 block of Elmwood Avenue at 9:05 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, police reported.
