World Of Beer Opening Today On Sherman

World of Beer is set for a grand opening downtown on Tuesday, Jan. 22, while a new wine store is already open on Davis Street. Read on for more business openings and closings.

World Of Beers Opening Today The bar and restaurant is set to host its grand opening at 1601 Sherman Ave. on Tuesday, Jan. 22, according to the World of Beer website. Owner Ted Mavrakis worked out a deal to open a franchise of the national chain in the Fountain Square building after a failed attempt to bring in the Hooter’s-like restaurant Tilted Kilt. The 5,800-square-foot spot will offer more than 50 varieties on tap, with a focus on craft brews.
