Man Charged With Failing to Register as a Sex Offender, Police Say

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department:  Arrests: Failure to Register As a Sex Offender, Etc. Arthur Cox, 48, of the 1900 block of Howard Street in Evanston, was arrested and charged with failure to register as a sex offender at 11:24 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, according to police.  Carl Hubert Dennison, 30, of the 1400 block of Foster Street in Evanston, was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing in the 2000 block of Darrow Avenue at 1:20 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, police reported. Walter Cortland Kenner, 55, of the 1900 block of Hartrey Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with violating an alcohol ordinance at 6:10 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, in the 1700 block of McDaniel Avenue, according …

Blotter: Sex Offender Failed to Register; Attempted Burglary on Lawndale

Man Strikes Victim in the Ear A man hit his victim in the right ear in a battery in the 100 block of Elmwood Avenue between 9 and 9:20 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, police reported. Aggravated Assault and Telephone Harassment Ginny Narula, 46, of the 1200 block of Oak Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with telephone harassment, aggravated assault and two counts of disorderly conduct in the 1200 block of Oak Avenue at 9:30 a.m. Monday, July 30, according to police. Failure to Register as a Sex Offender Michael Beckom, 50, a homeless man from Evanston, was arrested and charged with failure to register as a sex offender in the 7300 block of Niles Center Road at 4:20 a.m. Monday, July 30, police reported.  Attempted Burglary on Lawndale …
