Mike Adamle is 61 Years Old?

Forget the erroneous DUI charges. He’s clearly been drinking something else…

If you live in Evanston, you’ve likely heard about WMAQ-Channel 5 sportscaster Mike Adamle’s arrest for DUI, as well as the charge being recently dismissed.  Adamle was found to be not intoxicated, though he went through a hell of a lot of bad press over the incident.  That’s all great news, but the most startling fact about the whole situation was learning he’s 61 years old. While these cold and dreary conditions offer Evanstonians extra time to work on their beach bodies, they have just the opposite effect on me, stirring up cravings for things like chicken-pot-pie and warm chocolate chip cookies. When we moved to Evanston in 1997, I was pregnant with our first child.  I craved sweets like never before.  Imagine my thrill when I discovered a (now defunct) business that delivered freshly baked cookies until midnight.  Just to clarify:  it wasn’t a dream. The best part (oh yes, it gets better):  they also delivered milk and – …
