This week’s Readers’ Choice competition ended in an unprecedented three-way tie, as Evanston Patch readers voted and reviewed Dixie Kitchen & Bait Shop, Blind Faith Café and Fraiche as the best spots in Evanston to get Mother’s Day brunch. Though Dixie Kitchen & Bait Shop, 825 Church St., easily won Patch’s poll with 29 percent of the vote, Blind Faith Café, 525 Dempster St., and Fraiche, 815 Noyes Ave., each received enthusiastic, five-star reviews in our business directory. Though Four Finches, 1320 Sherman Ave., earned the highest portion of the 91 poll votes with 37 percent, FlowersFlowers edged it out as the winner by pairing 16 percent of the vote with four glowing, five-star business directory reviews.
