County Clerk Employee Killed in Hit and Run in Rogers Park
A 44-year-old father of three was struck and killed by a blue Volkswagen during a hit and run in Rogers Park Monday night, according to the 'Chicago Tribune.'
A 44-year-old employee of the Cook County Clerk's Office was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in Rogers Park Monday night, the Chicago Tribune reports. Tsering Dorjee, a father of three who lives in Rogers Park, was hit by a car around 6 p.m. in the 6400 block of Maplewood Avenue, according to the Tribune. He died later that evening at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston. Chicago police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the department at 312-745-4521. Police say the car that hit Dorjee was a dark blue Volkswagen beetle with the Illinois license plate P121817, the Tribune reports.
