Evanston police believe a 22-year-old man is responsible for 32 separate incidents of criminal damage that took place last weekend, including cut cable wires and flattened tires.
Police say a 22-year-old Evanston man is responsible for 32 separate incidents of criminal damage that took place last weekend, including punctured tires and sliced phone and TV wires, according to a press release from the department. Detectives used surveillance video from a local CTA station to identify the suspect, who can be seen getting off a train coming from downtown Evanston, then cutting an electrical wire in the station stairway, according to police.
