Man Punches Through Bus Window

Arrests: Drug Possession, Battery Benjamin Franklin Brown, 54, of the 1900 block of Emerson Street, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance at 9:14 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, in the 1700 block of Brown Avenue, according to police.  Quincy Terrel Daugherty, 29, of the 1100 block of Oak Avenue, was arrested and charged with battery in the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, police reported. Aggravated Assault A man tried to hit another person with a belt in the 1500 block of Sherman Avenue around 3 a.m. Wednesday, July 4, according to police.  Shots Fired/Man With a Gun Police investigated a report that someone had fired a gun in the 1900 block of Lee Street between 1 and 3 a.m. Monday, July 5, police reported.
