New Route Could Improve Biking from Evanston to Edgewater

Commuting by bike into Chicago could get a lot easier and safer if a proposed bike route connecting Evanston and Edgewater materializes, according to an article in DNAinfo.

The details of the plan have not been fixed, the article states, but it would run along Glenwood and Greenview between Devon and Evanston. The route could include protected bike lanes and roundabouts, and could see the removal of some stop signs so bikers could travel uninterrupted.
