Coming Soon Downtown: Naf Naf Grill

One restaurant after another keeps popping up on the stretch of Orrington Avenue between Church and Davis streets in downtown Evanston.

The latest is Naf Naf Grill, a Mediterranean restaurant with locations in Niles, Naperville and downtown Chicago, among other sites in the Chicago area.

Naf Naf Grill was founded in Naperville by brothers Sahar and Elan, according to the restaurant's website, and is currently expanding to Evanston, Mt. Prospect and Lincolnshire. Specialties include shawarma, falafel and fries, as well as pitas baked in house.

Other new restaurants on Orrington Avenue include JT's Bar and Grill, World of Beer and La Macchina Cafe, while new restaurant Lao Sze Chuan is slated to open next door to Naf Naf Grill by the end of this year.
