Burglar Steals Stove, Fridge and TV
Someone broke the window of a home in the 2000 block of Emerson Street and stole a box-style television, stove with oven and older model white fridge between 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, and 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, according to police.
Evanston Man Charged With Battery
Shavez Jones, 26, of the 2400 block of Lake in Evanston, was arrested and charged with battery at 3:45 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, at the police station, according to police.
Catalytic Converter Stolen on Asbury
Someone stole a catalytic converter from a 2003 Honda parked in an alley in the 300 block of Asbury Avenue between 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, and 8 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2, according to police.
Laptop Computer Swiped at Restaurant
A man stole an Apple Macbook laptop computer from a table at a restaurant in the 2900 block of Central Street at 9:10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2, police reported.
Bike Stolen on Benson
Someone stole a Fuji bicycle with lights on the frame and on the back of the seat that was locked to a rack in the 1600 block of Benson Avenue between 7 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, police reported.
Graffiti Appears on Dodge
Graffiti appeared on a garage in the 300 block of Dodge Avenue between 9:55 and 10:06 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, according to police.
