Chicago Man, 22, Shot to Death Near Howard CTA

A 22-year-old Rogers Park man was shot and killed in the 1600 block of West Howard Street Sunday night, according to police.

A 22-year-old Rogers Park man was shot and killed just a few blocks from the Howard Street CTA station around 4 p.m. Sunday, according to police. 

Blake Lamb, a resident of the 7600 block of North Bosworth Avenue in Chicago, was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:17 p.m., the medical examiner’s office said. He was found lying on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso, according to police.

Following the shooting, a large crowd gathered near the scene, according to DNA Info Rogers Park. Evanston Police were called to the scene to help control the crowd and cordon off the scene of the crime, DNA Info reported
