Two men pushed a woman and forcefully stole her iphone on the sidewalk at Michigan and Hamilton at 8:25 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, according to police.

Burglaries Reported On Davis, Hinman
Someone stole a Spectra physics laser leveler and two impact drills from an unlocked construction site in the 600 block of Davis Street between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, and 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, police reported.

Someone stole a silver Macbook Air laptop computer, purse and black iPhone from an unlocked home in the 1200 block of Hinman Avenue between 11 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, and 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, according to police.
Car Burglar Steals Jackhammer, Saw
Someone pried open the door of a 2000 Chevrolet parked in an alley in the 1900 block of Darrow Avenue and stole a Rigid electric drill, DeWalt electric drill, Busch jackhammer drill and a Milwaukee electric saw between 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, and 7:10 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, police reported.
Man Charged With Retail Theft
Richard D. Hudson, who did not supply police with a home address, was arrested and charged with retail theft at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue, according to police.
Phone Stolen at ETHS
Someone stole an iPhone in a teal protective case that was left unattended at Evanston Township High School between 1 and 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, according to police.
Thief Takes Package On Dewey
Someone stole a package that was left on the porch in the 1900 block of Dewey Avenue at 12 p.m. Sunday, July 29, according to police.
